About the extension
Fixnetworks Chat Manager is independent software for browser-local AI conversation organisation and user-directed account management. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or an official product of OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or xAI. Their names identify compatible services; their own terms apply to use of those services.
Version 0.2.4 is an installable preview. Its automated remote-operation tests use fixtures; signed-in production compatibility is not certified. Features can change or stop working when a provider changes its website, account access or interfaces. See Support for current limitations.
Permission to use
Subject to these terms, the provider permits you to install and use the supplied extension for lawful purposes on accounts and content you are authorised to manage. Ownership of your conversation content is not transferred to Fixnetworks by using the extension. Rights in third-party content remain with their respective owners. Bundled third-party software and font licences apply to those components; their notices are included with the extension. The preview is free to use for personal and business purposes. The extension is proprietary software: this permission does not authorise redistribution, resale or sublicensing of the extension. Third-party component licences remain applicable to those components.
Do not use it to access someone else's account without authority, bypass a service's access controls, or disclose content you are not entitled to share. For workplace/client data, obtain the necessary organisational authorisation before connecting, importing, exporting or syncing it.
Account actions and backups
You choose the connected provider account/workspace and the operations to perform. Review the named account, chat selection, Project destination and any exclusion/confirmation notices before proceeding.
Remote deletion may be permanent. No remote undo or recovery service is promised. Keep and inspect appropriate backups before deleting originals. A metadata CSV is not a complete conversation backup, and visible-page captures or unindexed conversations may omit messages. An exported file can be generated without the extension proving the final file is safely saved, complete and recoverable on your device.
Create/rename Project actions require confirmation in the normal ChatGPT interface and later result verification. A prepared form or an uncertain operation result does not establish that a change succeeded. Do not blindly repeat an uncertain write; refresh and inspect the provider state first.
Keep the dashboard open during current queued operations. Closing it stops further dashboard-driven work, but a request already submitted may complete. Interrupted destructive jobs are not automatically restarted.
Information handling
The extension Privacy Policy describes local storage, existing-provider requests, optional Chrome Sync, context insertion, downloads and browser speech. Review the destination before inserting saved context or running a prompt chain. Exports, saved prompts and support screenshots can contain personal or confidential information.
No additional paid AI API key, Fixnetworks account, VPS or backend is required for the current core extension. Your existing provider account, plan, permissions, usage limits, browser/connection and any service you independently use still apply. A ChatGPT subscription does not provide separately billed developer API credits or access to another provider. The current preview is supplied without a licence fee. If we offer a paid version or change the terms for a future version, we will give separate notice before that version is supplied; these terms do not authorise an automatic charge.
Availability and limitations
Local tags, summaries/excerpts, duplicate checks, dates and activity/token estimates depend on the data actually available. They are aids for review, not guarantees of completeness, semantic accuracy or provider quota measurements. Phrase redaction is not guaranteed identification of all personal information. Current PDF layout/font limitations and other-platform restrictions are described on the support page.
We do not promise uninterrupted access, compatibility with every provider account/browser configuration, indefinite support, successful store approval or recovery of deleted/lost information. Support is provided on a best-effort basis, without a guaranteed response or resolution time. We may provide fixes or updates, but do not promise a particular release schedule or an indefinite update service.
Nothing here removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Stopping use and changes
You can stop using or uninstall the extension. Uninstalling does not delete remote conversations, downloaded files or organisation uploaded separately to Chrome Sync. See the privacy/support pages for the distinction between local library reset and complete data removal.
Revised terms will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will also be identified in the release notes supplied with the affected version so you can review them before updating. New fees or materially different permissions require separate notice; publication of a revised page does not itself impose an automatic charge or remove rights you already have. If you do not wish to use a future version on its supplied terms, you can decline that update and stop using the extension.
